Short stays in Woodstock, Cape Town

A bright studio at One on Albert in Woodstock: queen bed, a desk you would actually work at, and a full kitchenette, five minutes from the city centre.

The area

Woodstock is the strip between the city bowl and the harbour that turned from warehouse district into the best breakfast in Cape Town in about a decade. It is on the right side of the mountain for morning light and the right side of town for getting anywhere.

Staying here rather than in the City Bowl means you are five minutes from the CBD and ten from the V&A Waterfront, without paying the Waterfront rate — and you are walking distance from the Old Biscuit Mill and the Woodstock Exchange.

Our studio at One on Albert is set up for a couple, or for one person working: queen bed, dedicated desk, fast wi-fi and a kitchenette that is genuinely equipped rather than decoratively equipped.

Common questions

Cape Town, answered.

Is Woodstock a good area to stay in Cape Town?
Woodstock suits visitors who want to be close to the CBD and the Waterfront without paying central rates, and who like being able to walk to good coffee. It is a working city neighbourhood rather than a resort strip — the Old Biscuit Mill and Woodstock Exchange are the anchors.
Is it cheaper to book direct than through Airbnb?
Yes. Booking direct avoids the platform's guest service fee, which is added on top of the nightly rate at checkout. The saving goes to you rather than to the platform.
Do you offer monthly or long-stay rates in Cape Town?
Rates vary by season and length of stay, so we provide a personalised quote rather than publishing fixed rates. Send us your dates and we will come back with a rate for exactly that period.
Is there parking and secure access?
The building is access-controlled and check-in is self-service. Tell us what you need for parking when you enquire and we will confirm what is available.
Can I work from the apartment?
Yes — there is a dedicated desk and high-speed wi-fi, and the studio was chosen partly for its light. A number of guests book it for exactly that.
