Privacy policy

When you send an enquiry, a booking request or join our mailing list, we collect the information you type into that form: your name, email address, telephone number, the dates and residence you are asking about, and anything you write in the message field.

Our web server also records standard technical information with each request, including your IP address and browser type. This is used to keep the site secure and to limit automated abuse of our forms.

To answer your enquiry, quote you a rate, and administer a stay or a lease. If you join the mailing list, we use your email address to tell you when a residence becomes available.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

Enquiries and booking requests are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet our legal and tax obligations, and are then deleted.

Mailing list subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Every email we send includes a way to do that.

South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to ask us to delete it. You may also object to receiving marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@luxerivercollection.co.za or WhatsApp 074 574 7812. We will respond within a reasonable period.

No payment is processed on this website. We do not collect card details through this site and will never ask for them by email. Any payment arrangement is agreed with you directly after a booking is confirmed.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It sets no cookies of its own for visitors browsing the public pages.
